They’re buying a castle for refugees!

It’s crazy, I know, but so was trying to fly to the moon – not that that really helped anybody – but a group of students from Aberdeen have made it their goal to raise 6 million pounds to buy a castle to provide a safe haven for refugees. Here is an article on the matter – because I am lazy: http://www.independent.co.uk/news/weird-news/students-aim-to-raise-6m-to-buy-a-castle-for-asylum-seekers-9832094.html

I know that 6 million is an ambitious number, but I told an old friend of mine – who is one of those crazy students – that I would blog about it. So tadaa. They have created a project-page on Indiegogo. So, if you believe in crazy students buying a castle for those who need it most, please consider sparing a bit of change or at least spread the word. It’s a small effort for a great cause.

They have a long way to go, but who knows, miracles do happen occasionally.
